Chelsea Penthouse

Located in a former textile factory in New York’s Chelsea district, this duplex two-bedroom three-bathroom penthouse was meticulously designed by Broshears Stancil Projects Architecture, to incorporate the client’s appreciation for modern Italian design. Details from a renovation done in the 70’s were replaced with modern lines and reveals, adding a clean sleek to the open loft-style space. The bathrooms were updated with Duravit cabinetry and Italian glass and marble tile. A custom fabricated nine-foot horizontal mirror was installed, creating a stunning light filled master bathroom. The minimalist kitchen was designed around the Valcucina kitchen cabinets shipped directly from Italy. The Luce di Luna stone counter on a custom black walnut island creates the perfect blend of modern lines with natural warmth. It is a feeling carried throughout this exceptional apartment.
